VANGA
VANGA summarizes a tape, which is the result of a covert surveillance operation. One (or more) region(s) of interest can be determined and only the events in that region are recorded to .avi files. The difference between VANGA and a Video Motion Detector is the intelligent way of working: you can determine regions of interest (detection areas) and assign some properties to them, like the property to be seen as an event or – in the contrary – be neglected. In this way you can set several properties who help you to summarize the tape as precisely as possible without having to view all motions after processing. The tape is reduced to a limited number of .avi files which give you only the relevant information.
In short, the advantages of Vanga:
- Vanga operates in both field and frame mode.
- An adjustable number of frames before start and after completion of an event are appended to the footage of the event.
- No missed frames, guaranteed.
- Setting up of up to 32 detection areas.
- Free form detection area’s (not only limited to rectangular shapes)
- Logic machine that enables to define events based on a logic combination of triggers. It enables to trigger only on a human entering a car, people entering a door while rejecting passage by etc.
- Logic machine has an occlusion detector, for instance warns if events cannot be detected due to a truck blocking a door under surveillance.
- Logic machine including time dependent behaviour for even more complex triggers.
- Versatile event viewer to step through events, replay on any speed etc.
The system will allow you to save a lot of time. When watching the complete observation tape, people could get tired or bored and that is not the case anymore. The result is a DVD with .avi files and one has an overview of all interesting and relevant events on the tape.
