It is an uncomplicated and versatile tool for capturing analogue and digital video on location and take it into the lab for further processing. VGA Grabber
Additional to the Forensic toolkit we can make a VGA Grabber: to facilitate grabbing images from a digital surveillance system. Through direct show you can grab a number of images per seconds, depending on the available hardware configuration. If you have the image of the perpetrator available on the surveillance system, you can first grab this and then mix it with the live image from the digital system and align the camera. The operating system on the surveillance system is not relevant anymore, only the fact that there are VGA monitors available gives you the possibility to grab these images.
